Program Details

This all sounds great...but you probably want to know about the nitty-gritty details.

The beauty of being a "micro" school is that we really do believe in the power of small group education! The school will have a maximum of 15 students enrolled with 3 dedicated teachers. With such a high staff-to-student ratio we can create the ideal blend of 1:1 support and small group programming.

  • The intention was to create a program that was all encompassing but still offered plenty of flexibility and accessibility.

    Tuition will include:

    - Personal Computer

    - All Access Academic Platform

    - Individualized Academic Curriculum

    - Quarterly Progress Report with open access to teachers at any time.

    - Therapeutic Riding- 1x per week, per student

    - Recreational Therapy (Adaptive Sports)

    - Vocational Training

    - Transitional Education

    - Speech Therapy

    Tuition for the 2021-2022 school year is $19,800.

    Flexible Payment Plans:

    The H.E.A.R.T. Center offers payment plans of 1,2 or 4 installments. Tuition is to be paid directly through our online billing system and families may set up automatic payments by bank account or credit card.

    - All Staff have Fingerprint Clearance Card and up to date CPR & First Aid

    - PATH Certified Equine Instructors

    - Passionate about empowering students with developmental and social disabilities to reach their fullest potential..

    Class Schedule:

    Our school will meet 4 days a week from 8:30am - 3pm. Students will have Wednesdays "off" or the option to add on a 5th day focused solely on vocational training.

  • The H.E.A.R.T. Center provides a transformative education for students with moderate learning challenges.

    We optimally serve students who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and whose primary needs are social, emotional and behavioral.

    Students with the above diagnosis may also have co-occuring learning challenges such as:

    - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

    - Executive Functioning - Processing Disorder

    - Specific Learning Disabilities

    - Speech or Language Impairments

    - Anxiety

    - Depression

    Our microschool support services are not structured at this time for students who require full time assistance of a one-on-one aide or who have severe cognitive deficits. If you are interested in services for a child with these diverse needs, please reach out! We will do our best to help you through other facets of our program or provide you guidance towards the program that can best support your child's success.

 

Enrollment

The H.E.A.R.T. Center accepts applicants on a rolling basis until capacity for the school year is reached. We are currently accepting 2021-2022 applicants.
