Summer 2022 Projects: Equine Veterinary Clinic

Equine Veterinarian

Hi HEART Center, we just finished an Equine Veterinarian clinic, and we had very interesting. Dr. Natalie, showed us how to use a measuring tape to get an estimated weight of our horses. Some of them need to lose weight! She also showed us how to tell if they are hurting and hiding it. Most interesting was getting to hear their heartbeat. We asked her about the steps to becoming a professional like her and she also told us about other opportunities to work with Veterinarians like a Veterinarian assistant or a Veterinarian Technician. Overall, we all had a lot of fun during this clinic
